LTL Consultants, LTD., in business for 25 years in southeastern Pennsylvania, has a full time job opening in our Oley, PA office for site development inspectors.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience in performing site observations to determine compliance with approved plans and municipal requirements, as well as ensuring acceptable work quality. Site observation experience must include storm sewers, utility installations, road construction, storm water management facilities, culverts, curbing, paving, sidewalks, walking trails, grading, and E & S control.
Valid PA Driver’s License is required. Excellent writing skills, the ability to work in a team environment, easily understand and interpret site plans are desirable skills. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to respond with professionalism to conflicts involving landowners, builders, developers, and municipalities also are a must. Computer skills with Word and Excel are a plus.
Strong emphasis is placed on the ability to effectively communicate technical information. Skill is required with reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, specifications and contract documents. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize technical skills to verify and improve public and private projects.
