Sewage Enforcement Officer/Soil Scientist

LTL Consultants is currently seeking a Sewage Enforcement Officer/Soil Scientist to join our Company. The position will work out of our Oley, PA office. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, digging and performing on-lot percolation tests, reviewing and processing sewage applications and issuance of permits, conducting inspections for on-lot sewage systems during installation, reviewing and approving planning modules, and conducting investgations of possible violations. All duties to be performed in accordance wit the PA Sewage Facilties Act.

Qualifications:

• PA SEO Certification preferred. Opportunity to become certified with a 4-year college degree in a related curriculum;
• Knowledge in current sewage enforcement code regualtions;
• Motivation and ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects;
• Ability to perform tasks with minimal oversight;
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges;
• Ability to adjust to changing schedules;
• Capability of completing work on your own, as well as with a team

Strong emphasis is placed on the ability to effectively communicate technical information, orally and in writing, in a professional manner to contractors, developers, property owners, employees, consultants, other governmental agency representatives, municipal officials and the general public. Skill is required with reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, specifications and contract documents.
